Hello. I am a teacher (sometimes), writer (occasionally), and artist (here and there) living in Chicago, IL. I have been published by the New Yorker and the New York Times, among many other publications.
I have also worked as a fast-food cook, dishwasher, political canvasser, telemarketer, parking ticket giver-outer, truck-loader, information desk clerk, technical draftsman, janitor, curator, print production assistant, proofreader, copy editor, web designer, and academic advisor.
